Overview

Information on requesting communications accommodations such as CART/ASL services, Mobility access information, and reporting an access barrier are below.

Report a Barrier

Depending on the nature of your request, a representative from Campus Access Services or from the  Disability Compliance Office will respond to your request within 48 hours during the business week (Monday-Friday, 9AM to 5PM).

Please use this form  to report an access barrier. Barriers include (but ar not limited to) the following:

  • Inoperable elevators
  • Inoperable door openers
  • Obstacles obstructing pathways, etc.

Communications Access

COMMUNICATION SERVICES REQUEST FORM

Please try to make your service request with as much advance notice as possible. If you make your request with less notice, we will do our best, but the earlier you submit your request, the more likely it is to be fulfilled. Requests can be made through the following form, or by contacting Campus Access Services at access@berkeley.edu.

We will send you a confirmation of your request shortly after you submit it, and contact you again when your accommodation arrangements have been set up.

Mobility Access

MOBILITY ACCESS REQUEST FORM

If you plan on attending an event and need mobility accommodations please try to make your service request at least 72 hours prior to the campus event you wish to attend. If you make your request with less notice, we will do our best, but the earlier you submit your request, the more likely it is to be fulfilled.  Requests or inquiries about accommodation information can be made through the following form, or by calling (510) 643-6456.
